沙爹(Satay):在馬來(lái)西亞、沙爹是最受歡迎的美味佳肴,系用切成塊并鹵上香料的羊肉、牛肉、雞肉,用細(xì)竹簽串起,拿到炭火上烘烤而成。
沙爹配著米糕(Ketupat)和含有小黃瓜、鳳梨及洋蔥的生菜沙拉,另外可蘸上香甜的花生醬和肉汁一起吃。

炒飯(Nasi Goreng):即大火炒米飯。配料主要有少量的肉、明蝦、雞蛋和青菜。
扁擔(dān)飯(NasiKandar):其名稱(chēng)來(lái)源于十年前檳城的小販將米飯和咖喱分別吊在棍子的兩端。這道菜的配料主要有豬肉、雞肉、魚(yú)肉和蔬菜。
馬來(lái)辣沙拉(Rojak):用鳳梨、小黃瓜、豆腐、切碎了的明蝦肉及煮好的雞蛋切絲后制成,用花生醬調(diào)好,味道非常好.
炒稞條(Char Kway Teow):系用平板米條和切碎了的大蒜一起攪拌后,再加上新鮮的明蝦、豆芽和蛋絲,用醬油和辣椒醬調(diào)味而成。

炒面(Fried Noodles):所用的面條是用糯米粉制成的。炒面由于做法不同,有各種不同口味,例如馬來(lái)口味、中國(guó)口味、印度口味和素食口味。
福建面(Hokkien Mee):華人的傳統(tǒng)佳肴。用寬寬的黃色面條搭配以明蝦、烏賊、豆芽,用口味很重的醬油膏調(diào)味。
印度煎餅(Murtabak):印度餅的一種。肉餡用碎牛肉、洋蔥和蛋絲混合烹制成成,通常以咖喱膏調(diào)味。
酸辣咖喱飯(Nasi Vlam):通常是在Ramadan禁食月吃的食物,但在吉蘭丹和丁加奴則是隨時(shí)可吃的食物。
椰漿牛肉咖喱(Rendang):一種需要花長(zhǎng)時(shí)間烹調(diào)的佳肴美味,是用肉、椰子奶、辣椒、洋蔥及香料比如肉桂、苜蓿、肉豆蔻等用文火烹調(diào)而成,配上米飯、米糕或Lemang用椰子奶煮成的糯米),味道香甜而且鮮嫩爽口。
